Jackie Dorst reviews the current information on COVID-19 transmission, symptoms and CDC recommended precautions for orthodontic practices and providing updates since her March 17 program to AAO members.

Learn the most current information on the spread of Cornoavirus in the United States. Jackie will cover the Coronavirus facts and provide examples on what other practices are doing across the country to help prevent the spread of the virus. Jackie will provide a quick review of infection control protocols including effective PPE, Disinfectants, Sterilization and Hand Hygiene.

  • Discuss the current status of COVID-19 infections and public health interventions, providing a quick overview of her March 17 program, but expanding with up to date information to assist you
  • Review CDC’s Standard, Transmission and Airborne precautions to reduce infection risk for orthodontic team and patients
  • Implementation of realistic protocols for orthodontic team safety and patient continuity of care
  • Receive practical information on how other ortho offices are managing during this time
