Staff Track: Respiratory Protection Planning

Date: October 8, 2020

Time: 12:30PM - 01:30PM

You must be registered to participate!

A Respiratory Protection Plan is a written plan required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Respiratory Protection Standard (29 CFR 1910.134). The plan must include safety measures implemented to protect the orthodontic team from risk of COVID19 infection and other airborne infectious diseases at work.

Just like your written, customized Infection Control Plan and Hazard Plan, the Respiratory Plan identifies the risk, outlines policies, and communicates protective measure for Low, Medium and High Risk employees.

Jackie Dorst will provide a comprehensive guide and template for COVID19 Respiratory Protection Plan.

Jackie's Learning Objectives:

  • Define SARs-CoV-2 Low, Medium and High Risk ortho employees
  • List Workplace Controls for SARs-CoV-2
  • List PPE for ortho AGP procedures
