A Digital Approach to Orthognathic Surgery

Date: February 23, 2021

Time: 08:30PM - 09:45PM

You must be registered to participate!

Dr. Neil Warshawsky (1.25 CE) discusses how not everything learned during the pandemic was bad. Listen and learn how technology has helped us to refine our digital workflow for orthognathic cases while keeping our patients safer than ever before.

Learning objectives:

  • Learn what is meant by a “digital workflow” and understand what it will take to establish it in your office. This program will look at what it takes to go digital, and we will discuss the pros and cons of being paperless. Our discussion will compare equipment and services, listing out the pros as well as the cons of these items. By the end of the program, the participant will be able to do a fair assessment of their own practice to see what is practical to immediately add, vs waiting a few years to purchase.
  • Understand what key milestones are required to safely approve your patient for orthognathic surgery. Recording keeping will be discussed, and we will specifically look at conebeam and 3D printing to help understand how they help to treat cases more efficient and accurately.
  • A variety of orthognathic cases will be demonstrated to show that it does not matter what appliance system you use in your office. Presurgical objectives are universal regardless of your treatment philosophy.
