Amy Demas presents "Let's Talk: Communicating WITH, not at Patients, Parents and Team" (1.0 CE) No one likes to be lectured or scolded. When we have challenges of cooperation or compliance, do you resort to repeating or rehashing the same lecture? If so, it can feel like the ad nauseum childhood songs that say, “Same song, second verse. A whole lot louder and a whole lot worse.”

Could it be that we missed the mark along the way and didn’t connect or communicate effectively?

Sign up today to and learn more about body language, common language, and cooperative language to empower you and your teams to not only communicate better but listen well.

In this presentation you will:

  • Learn about body language and micro expressions to help you gain insights as to what is really being conveyed in a conversation.
  • Obtain common language verbiage to use with patient and parents for greater cooperation and understanding.
  • Gain insights in cooperative language to help navigate the tensions that naturally arise when working with others.
  • Learn about listening skills to ensure we do more than hear someone speak but LISTEN to them well.
