However, in clinical practice there are occasions when unexpected problems arise and when they do, these problems cause anguish for all concerned. Problems may result from questionable judgment in diagnosis, treatment planning or treatment. This presentation will illustrate many commonly occurring clinical problems and provide information on how to prevent and manage them.
