‐ Jun 27, 2021 9:50am

Credits: None available.

Cone Beam CT imaging provides insight into dental compensations, skeletal and soft tissue changes in different approaches for orthopedic correction of Class II malocclusions, with new understanding of 3D facial changes with growth and treatment response. While longitudinal data for the envelope of changes with orthopedic correction is currently only short-term, surgical corrections also show remarkable post-surgical adaptations and relapse.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize 3D skeletal and dental changes in Class II correction.
  • Evaluate dental, skeletal and soft tissue outcomes for personalized treatment.
  • Define your patient Class II patient treatment needs and choice of therapies.
