Leadership is not only about being a good motivator, but also a good organizer, by organizing roles of responsibility and authority in the practice to ensure that everything gets done without all the burden of management falling on the Doctor, or Office Manager. In this lecture, Ken Alexander will briefly explain the roles of each of the possible practice Coordinators and how they are to harmoniously work together to accomplish the practice goals and standards. Practice success is greatly facilitated when the key practice pillars are recognized for their leadership and formed into a cohesive management team to help manage the practice, and the doctor(s).

Learning Objectives:

  • Evaluate your practice structure as to where to assign a Coordinator to build a stronger organizational structure.
  • Better define specific Coordinator roles for performance and team communications in the practice.
  • Institute regular Coordinator meetings to address management needs and failures that will lessen the burden of management on the Doctor and Office Coordinator.

  • Ken Alexander, BA, M. Div. : Consultant: Alexander & Sons Consulting
