Credits: None available.

Missing teeth in the anterior and posterior area are frequent orthodontic challenges. Although prosthodontic replacement can be considered a viable solution, orthodontic space closure is preferable in order to avoid looming long-term sequelae. The speaker will present uncommon demanding clinical scenarios which have been addressed with common sense treatment planning and application of simple but effective biomechanics.

Learning Objectives:

  • Handle challenging clinical situations due to missing teeth with straightforward treatment planning.
  • Apply simple but effective biomechanics even for complex malocclusions with missing teeth.
  • Implement treatment options you would not have considered before this lecture.
