Description

Achieving excellent orthodontic results is essential and involves a series of procedures from the treatment beginning as well as during treatment. But the most critical phase is the finishing itself or close to the appliance removal. For this phase, it is important to have clear objectives, a checklist, improvement in bracket placement, and carry out items considered inappropriate, such as bracket replacement and archwire adjustments. As well as improving functional occlusion and anatomically reshaping teeth. With this lecture, we intend to reveal, discuss, and propose procedures considered essential for the excellence of the orthodontic finishing procedure and obtain results with excellent oral health, facial, dental and smile harmony, functional occlusion and, especially long-term stability.
