Lack of posterior support and appropriate anchorage unit, loss of vertical dimensions, ill-fitted prosthesis, endodontic involvement, compromised periodontal conditions are all the most common factors contributing to the mutilated dentitions. Besides thorough communication, a comprehensive treatment plan is the key to the final success. Mini-implants, dental implants and even autotransplants are all important tools for full mouth rehabilitations of the mutilated dentitions.
