The lecture will focus on symptoms and signs of sleep apnea in children, will delineate approaches to diagnosis including those currently being developed. I will also dedicate time to summarily describe the morbidity of sleep apnea in children and standard approaches to treatment.
Identify children at risk for sleep disordered breathing.
Detect those children at higher risk of end organ morbidity.
Make evidence-based decisions on approaches to diagnosis of sleep apnea in children.

Very informative lecture with valuable information regarding snoring and cognitive function as well as OSA and its connected morbidities like brain activity and obesity. The study showing improvements after tonsillectomy was quite interesting as well. Thank you!
