Description
In the clinical presentation, the history of the Forsus appliance will be discussed. The direct use, connected to the archwire as a "bail out" non-compliance patients as our first use of Forsus. The clinical comparison of the Forsus (X-Bow Appliance) to Herbst will be discussed showing similarly timed treatments on identical twins. This discussion will focus on over-correction, time studies (number of visits, and total time in the chair) and overall before/after results for high and low angle cases. The use of TADs for Cl II correction is gaining in popularity especially if a concern exists for flaring lower incisors. During this presentation, these indications will be discussed, and clinical examples will be reviewed.
