Why Does the Orthodontist do it That Way? The Why's and Wherefores of Clinical Orthodontics
Do you ever wonder why the doctor makes certain decisions about treatment? Why does he or she do it that way? This lecture will give you the opportunity to step into the orthodontist’s brain to give you some understanding of day-to-day decisions that must be made in efficient clinical orthodontic care. Topics include diagnosis of the patient, treatment mechanics, retention and use of certain products. Some reference will be made to the literature to provide evidence- based material. This lecture assumes basic clinical orthodontic knowledge.
