Description
A high number of emergency visits can make a critical impact on the total treatment time and meeting financial goals of a case. Reducing the number of emergency visits and patients beyond their estimated completion date is a team effort for an orthodontic office. Often, offices with a high percentage of these numbers have difficulty reaching their schedule and financial goals. We will review the impact these patients can have on the office. Implementing systems and protocols to reduce these numbers will allow the team to manage patient treatment more efficiently.
Learning Objectives:
- Evaluate and manage emergency visits.
- Track and analyze treatment efficiency monitors.
- Reduce the number of patients beyond their estimated completion date.
