Description
This presentation will give you information of diagnosis, treatment planning, and orthodontic treatment for skeletal Class III patients with facial asymmetry or transverse problem using Surgery-First Approach (SFA), which is currently used in the orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery, for both clinical practice and research.
Learning Objectives:
- Propose the pre-surgical orthodontic preparation and post-operative orthodontic treatment in SFA for skeletal Class III patients wth facial asymmetry or transverse problem.
- Determine the decompensation of the posterior teeth, arch width discrepancy, and simulation of post-operative orthodontic treatment in SFA for skeletal Class III patients with facial asymmetry or transverse problem.
- Discuss about the indications and contraindications of SFA for skeletal Class III patients with facial asymmetry or transverse problem.
