Description

In his lecture Simon Graf presents an overview about the possibilities with CAD/CAM (Computer aided design and manufacturing) in orthodontics besides aligners. From the 3D intraoral scan to the 3D printed metallic and acrylic appliances, ending the treatment with a virtual designed and produced fixed retainer.

Learning Objectives:

  • Decide what appliance you want have in a direct printed approach.
  • Implement the use of 3D printed orthodontic appliances.
  • Set up a digital 3D workflow.
