Clinical Staff, bring your bonding griefs and concerns to this bond failure therapy session! This lecture will instruct staff on the importance of diligently adhering to proper protocol when bonding. The audience will learn the most up to date techniques when confronted with unique scenarios such as bonding to gold, amalgam, stainless steel, porcelain, zirconia, acrylic and composite. Chairside staff will find many new pearls to take the stress out of intraoral bonding by leaning on the proper products with a comprehensive technique review. Aligner attachments, self etch primers, banding and lingual retainers will all be discussed with a common theme of reducing bond failures.

  • Demonstrate the proper steps to bonding various attachments on artificial surfaces.
  • Execute proficient bonding protocols in challenging bonding scenarios.
  • Analyze various types of bond failure and troubleshoot the cause.
