Roberto Carrillo DDS, MS, PhD
Dr. Roberto Carrillo obtained his dental degree from UANL in Monterrey, Mexico, and received his certificate in orthodontics and MS in craniofacial biology from Baylor College of Dentistry. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics and of the Mexican Board of Orthodontics, and a member of the Edward H. Angle Society of Orthodontists. Currently, Dr. Carrillo is a Professor at the Orthodontic Department at the UANL in Monterrey, Mexico, and is a co-investigator and clinician of an NIH/NIDCR grant at Baylor, where he has focused his research primarily in hyperdivergent patients and growth modification with the aid of miniscrew implants. Dr. Carrillo has published his work in numerous articles in the scientific literature and maintains a private practice with his father in Monterrey, Mexico, where both have developed several orthodontic patents.
