Douglas Kirsch MD

Dr. Kirsch is a clinician and clinical educator who currently serves as the president of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). He is the Medical Director of CHS Sleep Medicine, where he maintains his clinical sleep practice and oversees Sleep Medicine for Atrium Health's 40+ hospitals. He is a professor in the Department of Medicine and Department of Neurology at Atrium Health. Dr. Kirsch has extensive clinical expertise in sleep medicine and has been heavily focused on clinician education. He is board-certified in Neurology and Sleep Medicine.
