Spyridon Papageorgiou DDS, Dr med dent

Dr. Papageorgiou is a faculty member at the Clinic of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, Center of Dental Medicine of the University of Zurich in Switzerland. After he completed his dental training in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, while he completed his orthodontic specialty training and his doctorate (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Bonn in Germany. He has published over 90 papers in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and over 10 chapters (h-index: 20; i10-index: 30), acts as a reviewer for 30 journals, and acts as editorial board member or academic editor in four journals. His research focuses on the clinical outcome, duration, or side-effects of orthodontic treatment, evidence-based methods to identify bias in clinical research, and biomechanical orthodontic investigations with the finite element method.
