Samuel F. Dworkin DDS, PhD

Dr. Dworkin is professor emeritus in the Department of Oral Medicine and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington. For three decades, he directed a large NIH-funded program of research in acute and chronic dental and orofacial pain. He recently received the ADAs Norton Ross Award for excellence in clinical research and the Wilbert Fordyce Award from the American Pain Society for behavioral research in pain.
