Dr. Eustaquio Araujo received his Masters in Dental Sciences and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Pittsburgh. He is the former Associate Executive Director, Clinic Director and Graduate Orthodontic Program Director of the Saint Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education. He is the Pete Sotiropoulos endowed professor of orthodontics at SLU. Dr. Araujo received the "Louise Jada Jarabak Award (AAOF)" in 2015 and the “Dale B. Wade Award for Excellence in Orthodontics (ABO)” in 2019. He is a Diplomate of the American and Brazilian Boards of Orthodontics; a member of the Angle Society of Orthodontics, Midwest Component; past-president of the Brazilian Board of Orthodontics; a former president of the Pontifical Catholic University in Brazil (PUCMinas), founder and first chairman of the graduate dental department of PUCMinas. Presently, he has been appointed director of the recently created Graduate Dental Department at the Faculdade de Ciencias Medicas de Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and is the Graduate Orthodontics Chairman of the institution.
