Dr. Pancherz is professor emeritus and the former head of the Orthodontic Department at the University of Giessen in Germany. His primary focus of research has been mandibular growth stimulation by fixed functional appliances, electromyography of the masticatory muscles and the long-term evaluation of orthodontic treatment results.
