Dr. Takashi Ono DDS, PhD

Dr. Takashi Ono has been Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthodontic Science, Graduate School Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), Tokyo, Japan since 2010. Prof. Takashi Ono works as a Visiting/Adjunct Professor at 10 domestic as well as international universities. He also serves as an editorial board member for 8 international peer-reviewed journals. Prof. Ono has published 10 book chapters and more than 270 articles related to orthodontics, craniofacial function/dysfunction, sleep-related respiratory disorders, and brain activity. He received the IADR/AADR Williams J. Gies Award in 2018, and Anthony Gianelly Award from SIDO (Societa Italiana di Ortodonzia) in 2020. Prof. Ono served as the Chairman of the 9th International Orthodontic Congress (IOC), presented by World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), held virtually in 2020.
