Mohamed I. Masoud BDS, DMSc

Dr. Mohamed Masoud, born in Fairfax, Virginia, completed his orthodontic specialty training and earned his Doctorate at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He has taught part time at Harvard, has worked in private practice in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and served as the clinic director for the Orthodontic Department at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. In July 2013 he became the director of the orthodontic program at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Masoud was awarded the Joseph Henry Award for clinical and research excellence and the Harry Sicher award from the AAO, and his work has been published and presented at several local and international meetings. He a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and an affiliate academic member of the Angle Society. His current research focuses on growth prediction and new approaches to orthodontic diagnosis.
