Dr. Robert E. Varner DMD

Dr. Varner received his DMD from the University of Oregon Dental School and served three years as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy. He completed his orthodontic education at the University of Oregon Health Science Center in Portland and subsequently opened his private practice in Roseburg, Oregon, which he continues. Dr. Varner has been involved in leadership positions in organized orthodontics at local, state, regional and national levels since 1977, including serving as president of the AAO in 2014-15. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the American Association of Orthodontists Insurance Company (RRG), the WFO, the Edward H. Angle Society, the ADA, the Oregon Dental Association and the Umpqua Dental Society, and is a Diplomate of The American Board of Orthodontics.
