Dr. Ronald Gallerano graduated from the University of Texas in Austin in 1967, spent a year teaching 8th grade general science, then matriculated at and graduated from Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 1972, where he earned a DDS degree. He then spent 2 years as a general dentist in the United States Navy, after which he entered and graduated from the University of Washington Orthodontic residency in Seattle in 1976, receiving a certificate and MSD degree. He immediately entered private practice in Houston, Texas, later being asked to join the University of Texas graduate orthodontic department in 1991, where he has been on faculty since. He was board certified by the ABO in 1987, voluntarily re-certifed in 2003, and has served as an ABO examiner since 2007. He currently practices in Santa Fe, Texas and continues to lecture and supervise clinical treatment at the University of Texas School of Dentistry graduate orthodontic department.
