Keiji Moriyama DDS, PhD

Prof. Keiji Moriyama received his dental degree and PhD degree in orthodontics from Tokyo Medical and Dental Univ., followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at the Division of Endocrinology, Univ. of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He served as professor and chairman of the Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at The University of Tokushima Graduate School from 1998 to 2007. Prof. Moriyama currently serves as deputy dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and Graduate School of Medical and Dental Sciences, and professor and chairman of Maxillofacial Orthognathics, at Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Tokyo. He is also the president-elect of the Japanese Orthodontic Society and a member of the Executive Committees of the World Federation of Orthodontists and the Asian Pacific Orthodontic Society. He has published over 150 scientific papers in international peer-reviewed journals and lectured in over 18 countries.
