Eladio DeLeon DMD, MS

Dr. Eladio DeLeon, Jr. is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received his D.M.D. in 1976. He completed his Orthodontic Residency training and received his orthodontic certificate and M.S. degree at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Dr. DeLeon served twenty‑two years of active service in the U.S. Army Dental Corps retiring 19 years ago as a Colonel. During his military career, he served as consultant and mentor in Orthodontics at numerous locations throughout the United States and Europe. In 1998, Dr. DeLeon joined Augusta University Dental College of Georgia (formerly MCG) team. He is the Marvin C. Goldstein Chair of Orthodontics, Program Director for Graduate Orthodontics. He serves as the orthodontic consultant to the Cleft Palate and Craniofacial Team at the Children's Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia. Dr. DeLeon currently serves as the immediate past-president of the American Board of Orthodontics. He also is a Diplomate of the American College of Dentists, and the International College of Dentists. He is a member of the ADA, and has served as an Orthodontic Review committee member for the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists and the Georgia Association of Orthodontists.
