Kang (Eric) Ting DMD, DMedSc

Kang Ting, D.M.D., D.Med.Sc., is a Professor and Chair of the Section of Orthodontics and the Division of Growth & Development at the UCLA School of Dentistry. He is an attending of the UCLA Craniofacial Team, an internationally renowned 12 specialty-collaborated center that is the largest and top ranked in the Western U.S., and a dual clinician-scientist with multiple NIH and AAOF fundings to develop NELL-1 therapy for craniofacial and orthopedic diseases. He is the discoverer of the NELL-1 protein and its function in craniosynostosis and craniofacial development.
