Mr. Mitch Albom

Mitch Albom is an internationally renowned and best-selling author, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, radio and television broadcaster and musician. His books have collectively sold more than 47 million copies worldwide; have been published in 49 territories and in 45 languages around the world, and have been made into Emmy Award winning and critically acclaimed television movies. His Tuesday's with Morrie has become the best-selling memoir ever published. In 2010, Mitch received the Red Smith Award for lifetime achievement by the Associated Press Sports Editors In 2013, Mitch was inducted into the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Hall of Fame. Mitch operates charities in southeast Michigan under his SAY Detroit umbrella and an orphanage in Port au Prince Haiti.
