David Richter DDS, MS

Born and raised in the Denver, Colorado area, Dr. David Richter David D. Richter DMD MS earned his dental degree at University of Washington School of Dentistry. From there, he specialized in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Oklahoma School of Orthodontics, where he completed his residency. He went on to earn a master’s degree, researching compliance issues related to orthodontic treatment.

Dr. Richter is the past president of the Weld County Dental Society and a Dawson Academy alumni. He is currently an academic advisor for KL Owen Braces. He is a key opinion leader for InBrace Orthodontics and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He has been named Best Orthodontist 7 years in a row by 5280 Magazine and Best of Greeley. Dr. David Richter holds 2 patents and 1 patent pending for a Virtual Articulator, a computer-based technology that allows dentists to navigate 3-D data to help track jaw movement. He also has a full patent for an advanced retainer design.

When he’s not hard at work creating wonderful smiles, Dr. Richter loves spending time with his wife and 4 sons, enjoying the beautiful Colorado outdoors, snow skiing, water skiing, and mountain biking.
