Dr. R. Scott Conley is the LB Badgero Endowed Chair and Associate Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Conley received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his orthodontic degree from the Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After completing his education, he joined the full time faculty at Vanderbilt (1999-2006) and then the University of Michigan (2006-2016). At Michigan, he served as the Graduate Orthodontic Clinic Director, Co-Director of the University of Michigan Dentofacial Deformities Clinic, and as Interim Chair and Interim Program Director. Dr. Conley is the past recipient of two Biennial Edward H. Angle Research Awards, an American Journal of Orthodontics CDABO Case Report of the Year and multiple AAOF Grant Awards. Dr. Conley is also the Director of the North Atlantic Component of the Edward H. Angle Society, Associate Editor of the Angle Orthodontist, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He has lectured nationally and internationally in the areas of surgical orthodontics and obstructive sleep apnea.
