Dr. Ayumi Shoji DDS, PhD

Dr. Ayumi Shoji completed her dental education, orthodontic training and PhD at the Institute of Science Tokyo. She is a board-certified orthodontist (Japanese Orthodontic Society). After earning her PhD, she worked as a junior faculty member at the same university and engaged in resident education and the treatment of craniofacial patients. She is currently a clinical instructor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry, where she is also an active member of the Cleft and Craniofacial Team.
