Dr. Buddhathida "Cartoon" Wangsrimongkol DDS, DMSc

Dr. Buddhathida Wangsrimongkol, also known as “Cartoon”, received her dental degree (First class honor) from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. She received her orthodontic residency training and a Doctor of Medical Science degree in Oral Biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. She further completed her Craniofacial and Special Care Orthodontics fellowship training at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Dr. Cartoon continued her journey in Craniofacial orthodontics by completed a Craniofacial Orthodontics research fellowship training at the Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery, NYU Langone Health. She is currently a full-time orthodontic faculty at Khon Kaen University, Thailand and work part-time at her family's multidisciplinary dental practice. Her research heavily involves in innovation in cleft care. She is currently holding a US patent-pending device and three petty patents in Thailand. Her research interests lies in Cleft Lip and Palate and other Craniofacial anomalies, as well as digital technology for patient care.
