Catherine Murphy DDS, MSD

Dr. Catherine Murphy earned her DDS and MSD from the Indiana University School of Dentistry, where she completed an orthodontic residency and published research in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She is an independent contractor and consultant with Floss & Company and serves as Head of Orthodontics at Wrigleyville Dental and Owl Pediatrics, specializing in enhancing orthodontic departments through patient-centered, collaborative care.

Dr. Murphy is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, an ADA Wellness Ambassador, and an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and Indiana Dental Association, where she contributes to multiple committees including the Wellness Task Force and Drinks Destroy Teeth. She has lectured nationally on topics such as holistic orthodontics, airway health, and myofunctional therapy, and authored two books, "Dear Momma... "and "Dear Friend…" which focus on oral health education. Additionally, Dr. Murphy co-founded the Take3ForMe™ self-care movement. Dr Murphy also dedicates her time to serving on the boards of the Indiana University Orthodontic Alumni Association, Southshore Skipping Stones, a nonprofit promoting caries prevention through education and the Beaux Arts Ball Committee focused on raising funds for the Everykid arts program which brings classes to schools in need of creative education programming.
