Dr. Cathy Hung DDS, MBAc, FICD, FACD
Dr. Cathy Hung is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon practicing in Monroe Township, New Jersey, with more than 25 years of clinical experience. Dr. Hung received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a DDS from Columbia University. She received her training certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Hung is the author of three books: Pulling Wisdom, Behind Her Scalpel, and Guided Wellness Regeneration, all dedicated to dental professionals. She is a certified life coach and speaks on various topics of practice management. Dr. Hung is an ADA Wellness Ambassador, chairs the NJDA’s Well-being Committee, and is actively involved at different levels of organized dentistry. She currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the official newsletter, Communicator, and chairs the Editorial Policy Committee for the American Association of Dental Editors and Journalists. She is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists and the recipient of Benco Dental’s Lucy Hobb’s Project Humanitarian Award in 2023 and the NJDA Presidential Award in 2024.
