Dr. Christopher A. Roberts DDS, MS
Dr. Chris Roberts is retired from his private practice of orthodontics in Findlay, Ohio. However, he continues to educate the next generation of orthodontists, serving as an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan, Department of Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, a position he has held since 1990. He received a bachelor’s and dental degrees from the Ohio State University. Afterward, he attended the Eastman Dental Center at the University of Rochester in New York, where he completed residency programs in general dentistry and orthodontics, as well as a research fellowship, and received a Master of Science degree in dental research. During his career, he has published articles in several peer-reviewed dental and orthodontic journals. Dr. Roberts remains active in orthodontic leadership roles. He served as AAO President in 2020-21. In addition, he is the director of the Graduate Orthodontic Residents Program (GORP), which brings together orthodontic residents from the U.S. and Canada for continuing education and networking. He is an associate editor of the AJO-DO, where he publishes articles on Risk Management. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Susan, and running, having completed the Boston Marathon 27 times.
