Dr. Christos Papadopoulos BSc (Hons), DDS, MCID, FRCD(C)

Dr. Christos Papadopoulos was born and raised in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada and is the owner and orthodontist of PapadopSmiles Orthodontics in his hometown. He completed his undergraduate degree (BSc Honours in Psychology & Biology) at the University of New Brunswick, earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Dalhousie University in Halifax, NS, did a pediatric general practice residency at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver, BC and subsequently earned his Master’s Degree in Orthodontics at Western University in London, ON. Following the completion of his orthodontic residency in 2017, Dr. Papadopoulos worked as an orthodontic associate for 5 years at one of Canada's largest orthodontic service organizations (OSO) before deciding to open his own practice from scratch in January 2022. Dr. Papadopoulos is actively involved with organized orthodontics representing the specialty. He is the Vice President of the Atlantic Orthodontists Association (AOA), is on committees for the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, and voluntarily serves as the Atlantic Regional Chair for "Smiles4Canada" -- a national non-profit foundation whose mission is to provide complimentary orthodontic treatment to children in need. Through his experience and leadership in the orthodontic profession, Dr. Papadopoulos was selected by the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists (NESO) to serve as its representative on the AAO's Council of New and Younger Members (CONYM) and also serves on the AAO's Council on Education.
