Dr. Dana H. Born BS, MS, MA, PhD

Dana H. Born, Ph.D., Brigadier General, USAF (Ret.), is a Senior Distinguished Fellow at The HOW Institute for Society, where she advances moral and authentic leadership across sectors. She chairs and serves on multiple nonprofit and corporate boards and is a Senior Associate with the Defense, Emerging Technology, and Strategy Program, and Senior Advisor to the National Security Fellowship at Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs. A former Co-Director of the Center for Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and the first woman to serve as Dean of the Faculty at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Dr. Born integrates military, academic, corporate, and civic leadership experience. She holds a Ph.D. in industrial-organizational psychology from Penn State University and contributes thought leadership at the intersection of ethics, human development, and emerging technology.
