Dr. Emelia Karkazis DDS, MS

Dr. Emelia Karkazis is a Board-Certified Orthodontist from Bannockburn, Illinois. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a 7-year pre-dental scholar where she graduated with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences in 2018 and her D.D.S. in 2021. She then graduated from the Orthodontics Residency Program at the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2024 with her M.S. in Oral Sciences and her Advanced Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Karkazis was the recipient of the 2021 Charles J. Burstone Research Aid Award from the American Association of Orthodontists Foundation and the 2024 William R. Proffit Resident Scholar Award, presented at the AAO Annual Session in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Karkazis is currently in private practice in the northern suburbs of Chicago.
