Dr. Fady Hussein Fahim PhD, FDS RCSEd, FDS RCPS(Glasg)

Dr. Fady Fahim received his dental degree from Cairo University in 1998. He started his residency in Orthodontic department, Cairo University in 2000. He finished his Master degree in Orthodontics in 2005. In 2008, he was granted Membership in Orthodontics from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh UK. In 2011, he completed his PhD degree in Orthodontics (Alveolar CLP distraction). He received “Best PhD Thesis” in Faculty of Dentistry Cairo University for the year 2011. He registered a patent “F-Distractor for approximation of wide alveolar clefts”. In 2013, he received Fellowship in Orthodontics from Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FDS RCSEd UK). In 2023, he was granted Fellow of Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow (FDS RCPS Glasg). He is currently a Professor at Orthodontic Department Cairo University. He is running his own private practice in Cairo (Perla Dental Clinic). He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, European Association of Orthodontists and Fellow of World Federation of Orthodontists. He lectured in front of American Association of Orthodontists annual meeting (AAO 2014), European Orthodontic Society annual meeting (EOS 2012), AEEDC in Dubai (2017) and Pakistan Association of Orthodontists 2017 annual meeting. Since 2005, he has been specialized in Cleft lip and palate, digital orthodontics, skeletal anchorage system, clear aligners and orthognathic surgery. He is currently the Founder and Director of M Orth RCSEd UK training program at Perla Dental Training Centre Egypt.
