Gary Salman is the CEO and Co-Founder of Black Talon Security, a leading cybersecurity firm dedicated to protecting healthcare organizations nationwide and a member of the AAO Committee on Technology. With more than 33 years in healthcare technology, he is a recognized security expert and visionary who helped develop one of the earliest cloud-based dental practice management systems, acquired by a public company in 2002. Under his leadership, Black Talon secures approximately 65,000 devices worldwide and serves organizations ranging from small practices to many of the top 20 Dental Service Organizations in the U.S. A frequent national speaker and widely published thought leader, Gary has trained tens of thousands of healthcare professionals and remains actively involved in law enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff.
