Dr. Gayle Glenn DDS, MSD

Dr. Gayle Glenn is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Orthodontic Clinic Director at Texas A&M University School of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Texas Tech University and received her dental degree from the University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. She went on to receive her master's degree and specialty certificate in orthodontics from Baylor College of Dentistry. She practiced orthodontics for 37 years in Dallas, before joining the full-time dental faculty at Texas A&M University (TAMU) School of Dentistry in 2020. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is a fellow in both the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists. Active in many local, state and regional dental organizations, Dr. Glenn is a past president of both the Texas Association of Orthodontists and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. She served as president of the American Association of Orthodontists in 2013-14. She often shares her passion for being involved in orthodontic and dental organizations with her orthodontic graduate students. Dr. Glenn enjoys supporting and mentoring dental students as the faculty liaison for the TAMU Student Chapter of the Texas Association of Women Dentists. Currently, she is Chair of the American Dental Association's National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and Certifying Boards, where she collaborates with Commissioners from the ADA and the recognized dental specialty organizations.
