Dr. Gina DeLeonibus DMD, MS

Dr. Gina DeLeonibus is currently completing her residency at the University of Pittsburgh, where she is pursuing a master's degree and a certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. DeLeonibus is from Cleveland, Ohio and she earned her dental degree from Case Western Reserve University. While in dental school, Dr. DeLeonibus worked on a research project measuring cortical bone thickness and bone depths in patients with a unilateral cleft lip and/or palate, which sparked her interest in craniofacial orthodontics. For her master's thesis, Dr. DeLeonibus continued this focus under the mentorship of Dr. Alice Goodwin at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. DeLeonibus aims to raise awareness of Pierre Robin sequence (PRS) with her research and contribute to improved diagnostics and therapies for patients with PRS.
