Dr. Guy Coby lectures and clinical teaching at Penn and Harvard involve a variety of topics and case types including interdisciplinary treatment (especially orthodontic-periodontal and orthodontic-restorative), orthognathic surgical cases, biomechanics, and biomaterials. He covers curriculum to prepare the residents for both their written and clinical ABO Board Examinations. He has received numerous teaching awards for these pursuits. As the Orthodontic Consultant to the Quakertown Implant Study Club, he has made presentations of a variety of different topics and cases involving forced eruption, mutilated dentitions, cases with significantly reduced periodontium, complex interdisciplinary restorative case treatments, and SFOT. Over the years, he has introduced members of his study club, orthodontic residents, and faculty to over 300 different wines at tastings concurrent with meetings and gatherings. In private practice, Dr. Coby practices with a periodontist which provides a unique opportunity to treat many of the case types above from which he draws his lecture material and experience.
