Dr. Hyo-Sang Park DDS, MS, PhD

Dr. Hyo-Sang Park is Professor, Chair, Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Kyungpook National University, Daegu, Korea (REP). He did pioneer work and extensive research the on development of microimplants since 1998. He has been using microimplants for 24 years and owns ten patents and wrote more than 100 international articles, six textbooks, and eight chapters dealing with Orthodontic Microimplants. His articles were cited in the orthodontic journals over 9,700 times and he has spoken to world-renowned orthodontic meetings more than 80 times as a keynote speaker and provided 2 or 3 days of microimplants training course internationally more than 230 times. He is serving as a reviewer for AJODO, Angle Orthod, EJO, Progress in orthodontics, Orthodontics and craniofacial research, J of Orthodontics, KJO, and other journal. He is doing reseach concerning clinical use of microimplants, its biomechanics, and experiments to improve Microimplants treatment.
