Ignacio Blasi Jr. DDS, MS, PhD is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained a Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Oral Biology. He is a former Clinical Associate at the Department of Orthodontics and worked at UPenn faculty practice with Dr. Robert Vanarsdall for several years. He received his dental degree from the International University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain and was recognized with the Colgate National Award in Dental Research. Dr. Ignacio Blasi Jr. is an affiliate member of the Edward H. Angle Midwest Society of Orthodontist. He has published various articles and lectures at a national and international level in the field of Orthodontics. A contributor and coauthor of Orthodontics: Current Principles and Techniques. His topics of interest are perio-ortho, multidisciplinary treatment, occlusion, esthetics, TMD-airways health and 3D dental technology. Dr. Ignacio Blasi Jr. currently maintains a private practice and is a faculty member at the University of Maryland, Department of Orthodontics.
