Mr. Jay Garvey MEd
John (Jay) Garvey has over 30 years of experience with students and their families as a residential caseworker, teacher, guidance counselor, and administrator in both public and private educational settings. Jay has developed and delivered workshops on: Homesickness, Engaging Families in Student Success, and How to Deal with Difficult People. Jay has BS in Secondary Education from Old Dominion University, and a M.Ed in Counseling and Development from George Mason University. Additionally, Jay has completed graduate course work in Community Agency Counseling as well as Educational Administration. Jay is a guest lecturer every year at the University of Pennsylvania's Orthodontic Program, providing insight on this very topic.
