Dr. Joseph Varghese MS, FDS RCS(Ed)

Dr. Joseph Varghese has a BDS degree from the University of Kerala, India, an M.S. degree in orthodontics from the Ohio State University, U.S.A. and FDS RCS(Edinburgh). He is a Diplomate and Past-Chairman of the Indian Board of Orthodontics and is Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. He is a Past-President of the Indian Orthodontic Society. He has been in private practice limited to orthodontics in Cochin, India for over 37 years. Formerly a visiting Professor at the Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, India, he maintains a part-time practice in Oman for the past 15 years. Dr. Varghese has published articles in Journal of Dental Research, Archives of Oral Biology, The Journal of Indian Orthodontic Society and Seminars in Orthodontics. A well-known clinician, he has lectured and conducted courses all over India and at several International conferences. His special areas of interest are Retention, Long-term stability, Re-treatment, and Asymmetrical biomechanics.
